miss somewhere?

Pissedly missing my home country, Hungary, I was wondering;
do you have any places which are deeply connectedd with
childhood/an earlier time, and are wonderously lovely, but
utterly impractical to actually move to? You know, places
where the trees are lovelier, the people are friendly, the
countryside is beautiful, but somewhere where a permenant
dwelling would be an impossibility for one reason or
another. for me, it's a random village in Hungary, with
lovely inbreds, fine strong village wine, and lots of weird
festivals; for you it could be anything. But moving there
is, for one reason or another, impossible. Yes.

San Diego, California

I wasn't born there, but grew up there.

I love the beach, the weather, and I guess the people are
fine, too.

I'm afraid there aren't very many "lovely inbreds" there,
though. But I have suspicion that there are many where I
live now. (Image a sad-faced emoticon at the end of that
sentence.)

Also, I found Hungary to be quite a strange country.. but
there were things about it that I adored, like some of the
architecture.
