Aren't they saying that it's OK to be morbidly obese? Maybe skinny models persuade women to drop down to a more sensible weight. Sure, some might die of anorexia but those who don't get too skinny will live longer. |

i don't know what to think... models are being judged and hired for their bodies anyway, aren't they? it's not like it was fair at all in the first place. i can't help but thinking that there is something inherently wrong in the idea of a "model" job. ...and at the same time i can see why it exists, and in a way it sounds sensible. sensible but unfair. (of course it's not just the job of being a model that's "problematic", being ugly is almost always a handicap.) |

Last year models scared the fuck out of me. Walking skeletons. It was one of the more disgusting things I've ever seen. And I love skinny girls too, but those were just sick to death. If you look at this year's ones, they still look skinny, but in a good sense. I think it's a good move. |
