I just received this email... "The Domain xyz.com is still in transfer and as soon as it is complete I will complete it and get the Config Docs to you ASAP." My questions is "What are config docs and what should I do with them?" My wife registered this domain with a third party and my ISP is going to host it for her, so she can put up her web-page, once my mate gets round to putting it together. Thanks in advance. |

the config docs are probably what you'll need to run and control the domain you've registered. Stuff related to setting up email addresses, allowing FTP access, and how/where your server logs are going to be. I wouldn't worry too much... but if you ever need help setting it up and admin'ing it. Let me know.. I do that sorta thing and even have been working with some pretty cool software like Drupal for doing a new messageforum/blog site for myself. |
