i believe there is a software update for the ipod that allows you to blend/mix tracks together. can anyone shed any light on this because ive been googling it with no luck :(

Yeah, I can only think of that.
I think you could be mistaking something that was on Dragons Den on TV. This bloke is going in with iTunes to put algorithms in with tracks so you can mix em, sounds pretty good.

no beat synching (<--that spelt right?) or owt like that, just a simple crossfade. like when you use the crossfade thing on itunes...
