since im new here i thought i would treat you to a autechre
video which i filmed at glade festival 2006. the start of
the vid is a little shaky but it gets better. also the audio
quality isnt too bad either considering i only used the
internal mic on my dv camera

i hope the stuff they are playing live will be on the next
album

i was there, i thought there wasnt enough dancing and i
decided that if i dance really hard and move around the
crowd smiling and doing thumbs up, i might get everyone
going, but it didnt work

ahh yeah man, i spotted the vid a while ago and have already
added it to my favs. that looks like a pretty big spliff?
audio quality is nice man, best AE glade recording!

how'd you get the cam so close up around the middle when
they were doing the last part of the set? looks like you
put it ontop of the speaker!

when rob does that fukn crazy ZZZAANG on that synth you see
that he does it right when sean changes that drum pattern,
fucking awesome. that show they have now is the best jam
ever

"that show they have now is the best jam ever"

ae seems to think that too ...they play the exact same set
from 2005 still in 2006 (the only difference being som
knobtwiddling - some filters up & down) I've got an old
interview were sean says "jazz & electronic sequenced music
is the most live music there has ever been"
I guess times and ambitions change.

What, you mean the actual music is practically the same? I
always thought they improvised where the patterns come in,
and in what combination.

the concerts from 2005 and 2006 I got has the same
structures/songs - the improv is mostly knobtwiddling - the
actual result is pretty much the same. I got surprised when
I heard it - I thought their methods were more radical than
that...

is it normal that so many people yell and scream at each
other during ae? that's annoying as fuck.

"how'd you get the cam so close up around the middle when

basicaly, i had a crew pass, i was doing some outside
projections (near the teepees) so i went backstage and tried
to get in, but the guy said, i needed a backstage pass, so i
went off and managed to blag one of one of the event
managers. went backstage and then hid behind a speaker. i
had this weird feeling they didnt want me standing too
close lol. i wanted to get in closer to see what gear they
were using, but i just coulndt do it

xf. i think at the beginning they're yelling "LOUDER!!"

elusive; 3:50 ---> insanity

larn we won't hold it against you if you want to post the
whole 30mins of video you got. did you get any clips of
peoople dancing or going apeshit?

avart; i think even though a good percentage of it is the
same from show to show , there is still crowd response
factor . there was a lotta that in the austin show if you
listen to the mp3

i'm waiting for a recording of ae fucking it up live. it
ought to go like this:

starts emerging from the back of the desk>

sean: oh goshdarnit

rob: forfucksake sean, I told you not to bring that glass of
orange juice onstage

sean: but I was thirsty

rob: you could've atleast put it in a non-spilling cup

sean: sorry rob, I forgot it at home

rob: right, but what the hell do we do now? the desk is
about to burst into flames. the kids are expecting mad
fucked up beatz you know, and let's not forget the the lush
melodies.

sean: don't worry, I've prepared for an event such as this

microphone, strange graphics appear on a screen behind>

sean: sorry chaps, we seem to have run into a slight
technical difficulty. we'll be with you in a moment. in the
meanwhile I would like to play some of the stuff I've been
working on. it's coming out on skam records next month

kicks in, sean grabs the microphone>

sean: what is love? oh baby dont hurt me, dont hurt me, no
more. what is love?

oops, forgot that zilty thinks some thing inside "<" are

i'm waiting for a recording of ae fucking it up live. it
ought to go like this:

(drumtrack starts crackling and suddenly goes silent, smoke
starts emerging from the back of the desk)

sean: oh goshdarnit

rob: forfucksake sean, I told you not to bring that glass of
orange juice onstage

sean: but I was thirsty

rob: you could've atleast put it in a non-spilling cup

about to burst into flames. the kids are expecting mad
fucked up beatz you know, and let's not forget the the lush
melodies.

sean: don't worry, I've prepared for an event such as this

(sean waves to the dude controlling the PA and finds a
microphone, strange graphics appear on a screen behind)

sean: sorry chaps, we seem to have run into a slight
technical difficulty. we'll be with you in a moment. in the
meanwhile I would like to play some of the stuff I've been
working on. it's coming out on skam records next month

(loud cheer emanates from the crowd and a familiar beat
kicks in, sean grabs the microphone)

sean: what is love? oh baby dont hurt me, dont hurt me, no
more. what is love?

(crowd goes wild and a soundboard leaks the next day)
