I am making my first lentil soup and it is soooo exciiitiiing!
First I soaked two cups of lentils overnight.
Then I drained the lentils and put them in a pot with three litres of water, two sliced onions, curry powder, salt, black pepper and a couple of sliced carrots (the carrots weren't in the recipe but I am daring to be different).
In fifteen minutes I add a bunch of spinach, then ten minutes after that I add lemon juice, and there you go - lentil soup.
My favorite part was soaking the lentils overnight. Sexy.

Failing to plan is planning to fail. Didn't you get the memo on that?
I'm sending you for a workshop on success, and some sensitivity training for good measure.

Also, have you noticed that all Indian waiters seem to be mildly amused and sometimes having difficulty keeping from laughing when you ask them questions about the menu?
I have seen them like this with other customers so I know it isn't just me.
(it's just me, isn't it?)

Try a tin of Ship curry powder.
best curry powder EVAR
I bought a tin last week and I've wanted to eat it every day. But I haven't because I don't want to get sick of it.

Well, to be fair, Indian waiters, like Indian doctors, they don't do it for the love of the profession.
