it does, it's a great album with a varied palette of sound.
very good songwriting. reminds me of beach boys mixed with
bark psychosis. lovely stuff.

i've been listening to this album a bit of the last few
days. on first listen i was very surprised, not what i was
expecting at all, and a nice change to the current plethora
of shit rock bands out at the moment.

the flute parts always remind me of polyphonic spree.

it's real nice. there's a lot going on at those songs.

just like to slag off warp..

i find it absolutely hilarious that this leaked before warp
even announced the release of it. maybe they shouldn't wait
5 months between newsletters. lazy bastards.

i know veckatimest is probably one of the most hyped albums
this year, but for once the hype is actually justified.

simply put, it's a fucking gorgeous album that just gets
better with each spin. in theory the song structures
shouldn't really work, but they pull off everything without
sounding pretentious.

i love the fact that they seem perfectly able to write
simple and accessible pop songs, but instead they
intentionally venture into some sort of unknown songwriting
territory.

a really unique album that i definitely will play a lot this
summer -- sitting on the porch, drinking beer. fuck yeah.

is it me or am I the only one who likes yellow house better
than veckatimest? Or maybe I should give it some more time..
