I currently have Animal Crossing (ate up months of my life
yet again, though i've put it down for now because of
school), Mario Kart, Tetris, Metroid Prime: Hunters and
Starfox Command.

I'll post friend codes here if anyone else is willing.

I just want a déesse :( (DS french for goddess) :D

ah, a goddess would be nice. i make her change reality for
me. for instance, policemen become zombies. i'm sure it'd be
hilarious and deadly.

well MKDS is the only multiplayer one i have that is, other
DS games i have are castlevania and bust-a-move.

if you liked the first animal crossing, then yes. but they
didn't change much. i warn you though, it may eat your life.
then again, you may hate it. it's good if you like games
that imitate your social life and end up replacing it.
starfox command is decent though, and tetris is fucking ace.
(it's a nintendo handheld - tetris is essential, for fuck's
sake)

Mario Kart
146 106
712 695

Tetris
278 369
478 171

castlevania dawn of sorrow is great! they have a new one
coming out for DS soon too. there's also children of mana,
which drops on halloween.

offline cygnus from nowhere and everyplace on 2006-09-04 12:57 [#01965241]
Points: 11920 Status: Regular

yeah children of mana is going to be dope. is it a sequel to
the other 'of mana' games tho? or is it a new fresh story?

the new castlevania game is going to have 2 controllable
chars which is going to kick ass, have you seen the vids for
it? looks awesome

ive never played an animal crossing game, what exactly do
you do? looks like you just farm and take care of a virtual
garden/town or somethin? what's the multiplayer like?

what exactly is Animal Crossing? i saw it on TV and i think
it looked morre like a little girrls game, if it's the one i
think.

i'm not really into the DS games where you have to use your
thumb or stylus to control 3D movement, it cramps te fuck
out of my hand cause they're really large and skinny. like,
i had metroid prime hunters and gave that shit up after just
a few hours cause i swear i was going to get permanent hand
cramps

animal crossing:

you have a house. you put furniture, wallpaper or carpets of
your choosing in said house. you buy clothes and hats, and
can make your own. you dig up fossils. you plant trees. you
mail letters. you catch fish. you catch bugs. you get
fireworks at summer shows. you get songs for your jukebox
every saturday night. you talk to people to become their
friends and do tasks for them. you build snowmen in winter.
you bust your ass to make money and make your house bigger.
(i have 4 rooms at the moment.) think SimApartment, only
you're the tenant. It's Nintendo's sandbox game.

I hope that sums it up. People either really love it or
really hate it. I find it grossly entertaining.

im fine with playing girly shit here and there videogame
wise. i borrowed nintendogs for about a week and couldnt put
it down. i had a black and white chihuahua named 'motoko' :]

yes, hunters' control scheme really pissed me off. starfox
handles a bit better though, since it's complete 360-degree
flight. but not by much. i just like it because there's ten
different endings, and i saw three yesterday.

there's also an rpg coming out soon called "contact" by the
same studio that made Killer7. looks very interesting.

yeah i get it. sounds like harrd worrk... but if you've got
the time. i can't get my head arround them kinda games
though.

sounds like it could be extremely nerdish fun ahahha

UNF. yeah, contact is going to be a good one. 2 art styles,
one RPG, and you as the player is the "overseer" or
something like that.

have you looked at the screens/vids for Cooking Mama? all of
the challenges are cooking special dishes using the stylus
and d-pad.... its a majesco game so it should definitely
kick ass

i borrowed the catridge from a friend a while ago, isnt
really my kinda game as it's just constant stress. no real
satisfaction to be had unless you win the level...

worth it. cult classic, to say the least.

you don't have to feed anyone. the game gives you a lot of
free reign, actually. you don't even have to pay off your
debt if you don't want to. but you will. there's just no
time frame for it.

yeah i've added you and cygnus.

cygnus:

TCP:
Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910,
29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443

UDP:
Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for
peer-to-peer connections and game play). The Network Test
tool can be used from a computer behind your firewall to
test if outbound UDP is allowed.

also, firewalls, anitvirus and anti=spyware programs may be
interfering as well.
this page
may help.

go into wi-fi on mario kart.

click nintendo wfc settings.

go to options.

check "system information."

there should be a mac address.

do you have mac filtering on?

and is your security set to WEP?

also, make sure that "Auto-obtain IP address" is clicked on
in the config.
