overall i guess i'll have to go for shredded wheat
followed by weetabix, cornflakes, sugarpuffs and rice
crispies

though my stomach tells me sugarpuffs are number 1
who knows...maybe it's right....what do i know?

as you can probably tell - i'm a old fashioned kinda
fellow.
i remeber new fangled stuff like coco pops coming out and i
disagreed with them from day one
fucking chocolate for breakfast - how very crass

have you seen those nesquik straw things...wtf?

what are you, amish?

nobody is twisting your arm to buy the cereals or read
reviews of cereals. "the magic" of a new cereal is only
spoiled for the people who choose to spoil it for
themselves. if you are browsing a cereal thread, you
obviously are at least a little curious, so climb down off
your high horse and eat some cereal or get the fuck out.

these products that are unavailable in france (like pop
tarts).

"what are you, amish?" :D

(I've heard that there are cereals with wine gums in the US,
that maybe makes the EU cereal market look a bit amish...
:D)

here in sweden all cereal-products now turns into
"multigrain!/no sugar at all!"-products... quite funny,
suddenly they discovered that products with 40% sugar isn't
a good idea (though it tastes quite nice)...

I like a copy of kellogs "Special K" (called ICA special
flakes) that's actually better than the original (the
original disappears directly when it becomes wet)

the amish thing was completely unconnected to this thread
it was merely aimed at evolume 5 seconds after he posted
that statement at me on wa*mm.

i hope through this confusion you didn't jump to the
conclusion that i was american and frowning on european
cereal.

i am opposed to capn' crunch / lucky charms and pretty much
all american food.

the only thing i like about american cereals is that joke
the butthole surfers once told me.

well I read "UK" in your profile so I knew that, but I
thought I found a funny connection between calling someone
"amish" and preference/knowledge of cereals.... :)

Probably Apple Jacks, followed by Fruity Pebbles (good call
Wolfslice) and Cap'n Crunch's Crunchberries.

Speaking of Special K Red Berries, does anyone from the USA
remember the commercial for it when it came out about 4 or 5
years ago with the lady in the produce aisle bagging a box
of the cereal (as if it were fruit)? It was kind of a dumb
ad but the music was enchanting.

marshmellow fruit loops is the best if they even make it
still which reminds me i got a box of new fruity lucky
charms waiting for me to try them and i'm oh so very
hungry...

reeses puffs is delish on the whole peanut butter chocolate
tip!
i ate an entire box, minus milk, the other day.

i used to eat an organic hemp granola with orange juice
which went strangely well together...
