For starters: its fascism. Consenting adults should be allowed to do and film whatever the fuck they want. Option 1: ban violent porn because it encourages people, already biased towards sexual violence, into performing violent sex acts rather than just thinking about it. Option 2: don't ban violent porn and throw money at studies to detect psychological defects in early/pre life that may become violent sexual tendencies later, and then "take measures..." (abortion, surgery, drugs, incarceration, etc, etc, etc - I'll leave it up to you). Thus likely intruding on at least some basic freedoms or rights. Option 3: don't ban violent porn and wait until those who's tendencies come to the fore as a result of indulging in it start killing or beating-up people, then arrest them and make them stop. (Default) Option 2 seems to be the best, but try getting a government to do it without passing acts that limit your freedom in some way. |
