i've got a problem with my Machinedrum whereby the scale
buttons aren't displaying correctly

Label 1 shows the MD in 16 steps-per-pattern mode.

Label 2 shows the MD in what i'm guessing is supposed to
happen when it's in 32-steps-per-pattern mode and currently
in Part 1 (steps 1-16) of the pattern.

Label 3 shows the MD in what i'm guessing is supposed to
happen when it's in 32-steps-per-pattern mode and currently
in Part 2 (steps 17-32) of the pattern.

Label 4 (in red) shows what my MD actually does when it's in
32-steps-per pattern mode.

arrrgh!! help??!

I listened to it but forgot to post. That was the ambient
one wasn't it? I liked it. I even think the crappy
recording quality added to the track...but I want to hear
the equipment being messed with in a mad style.

thank you very much sir, i shall of course be expanding on
it...

as for fucked up post-Confield autechre style stuff...give
me about 20 years (i think that's around about how long rob
and sean have been doing stuff!)

i'll certainly try my best to do some fuckest-uppest musics,
this Machinedrum is INTENSE man....even just the external
audio manipulation possibilities are major!

I'm seriously considering buying one of those
machinedrums...but my girlfriend would cut my penis off
while I slept if I did.

mine is only the SPS-1 version, not the SPS-1UW....i'm
desperate for the upgrade though :(

anyways, i got mine for £720 on eBay...i dunno what the
prices are on there at the moment, but if you can finance it
you would serioulsy lock yourself away for about 6 months
just with this machine

you'd seriously dig it man

if i were to recommend only one drum machine, if that was
gonna be your only hardware drum machine, i'd recommend the
Machinedrum

it's sequencing and sonic capabilities blow the shit out of
everything else

and that's coming from an analog purist

i wish i could have patterns that are 128 steps long without
using song mode on the sps-1, though dont get me wrong song
mode is just bad ass. would be fuckin cool if they expanded
more on song mode -

like what if you could put a swing on whole entire patterns
and swing through like 4 patterns? or, like,
pattern-delay..

other than that its my new best friend to be honest, ive had
it about 2 months and i play with it for hours a day. its so
deep, and it sounds so good

alternatively when i make something that's whack on the
SPS-1, for some reason it's all the more whack and i get
frustrated and turn it off :(

oh man, you forgot to buy the "fucked up beats" extension
which magically glitches and fucks up every beat you write
on it, get one now.

Hmm, the MicroKorg's a handy little synth.
