Oh, very nice. My favourite period of the Art of Noise is
the first and second albums, that one you've got there
"Daft" is very good, it's a selection of early singles and a
couple fo tracks off of the first album. That "In no sense?
Nonsense!" album you have there, the second album, that's
great too, bit more polished and varied.

And your Dad has all my favourite Bowie albums, though I see
he's turned the cover of "Lodger" inside out, which is
unforgivable.

My parents had loads of great soul/rock/pop stuff on vinyl
from the seventies/early eighties, then they gave them all
to Oxfam when we got a CD player in the mid-eighties. Shame.

Check check check out the last track "Crystal Japan" on that
"Rare" album, it's a great, moody instrumental, I love the
booo...wooooo bass, oh yes.

Heh right, I fixed that cover thingie now, see the picture
below.

About Art Of Noise I think I'll ask my dad if he lends me
some of those cds. I feel the need to listen to them. I
might start with "Daft"..

iiiiiif i look out the window now, i can tell you that.. no?
no.. phobia's shaking his head.. we'll drop it.."

Agh! I missed it. I believe Phobia needs to start posting
all times in CST, just because that happens to be mine and
I'm an American dammit! Anyway, guess I'll have to wait for
the torrent. Sorry Dan!

Wow, awesome, I'm assuming you're Jaffa Kid but you could
just as well be Lisa Lisa, Kid Frost or Man2Man. If you are
Jaffa, can I just say, I love all your stuff and even Phobia
got a bit excited by that "Intergalactic War Trials" track, and that
chap's heard EVERYT'ING.

Sorry Staz about the "vox", I'll take it down, though 'rum
liked it, bless him.

sorry? they were excellent, hell, they even made me
laugh
(!). i actually though about doing a "remix", a
sort of gimmicky "dog_belch raps" trash tune, but the faint
mix-in of the background tune wouldn't work to well with it.
maybe for the best, mind.

Wow, that's great news! I'd definitely go for a full on
Jaffa release that I could sniff and fondle as well as hear,
all the best with that, I very much look forward to it.

Sorry, that sounds quite creepy. Why couldn't I have just
said "Great, look forward to it?" But no, the sniff and the
fondle... bloody internet.

Listened to the mix twice last night over a rollicking game
of Sim City 2000 and I must say it was truly inspiring.
Well done doggy dog_belch.. the selection of tracks was
stellar. (although the link Phobia posted was only an
hour)

And yeah, that Jaffa Kid track is some powerful stuff. I
went into it skeptical and came out a believer. Thanks for
sharing!
