I'm just glad the avoided the usual Internet faux news
comedy article trap which is to write 10,000,000,000 words
hammering the original "joke" into a pulp then hammering on
interminably longer until all but the author has died.

i got a The Onion boxset for Christmas last year. The Onion
Platinum Prestige Encore Gold Premium Collector's
Collection. i find it much more fun to read in that format.
just randomly flip around the book whilst sitting in bed
reading bits here and there. in 'fanfare for the area man'
book, they filled all the extra space in the entire book
with the repeating phrase "passers by were amazed by the
unusually large amounts of blood."

it's a good sunday breakfast read.
