the problem with them getting on their own feet is the debt they're in. of course, it was a good thing when some countries got their debts removed, and I haven't really looked into it after as I suck at names and geography, so I don't remember which countries they were, but I believe removing the debt helped them a lot! |

This thread was started though by saying look you are taking that fat burger out of that skinny african kids mouth and puttting into your fat face. Like there is a shortage of food in the world. WRONG! I never said either of these things. I was comparing the over-indulgence of America to the stark and drastic impoverishment of Africans. I'll agree that they have to get on their own two feet, and that aid isn't the answer. It can be a help, but it won't help at all unless they're allowed get on their own two feet. The main reason they're unable to get on their own two feet is due to unfair trade laws and corrupt, tyrannical governments, that're usually supported by first world countries (such as America), to serve the interests of the elite in the third world and first world countries. |
