My mate worked for a hip hop reviews website (apparently the biggest one in the UK) and one of his connections got him Kool Keith's number. When he phoned it, he just heard an answering machine with classical music playing. |

Thanks for the post cygnus!!!! going to see him in Charlottesville on the 7th thanks to you....really have no idea what to expect but ive wanted to see kool keith for years now... side note..i was in my local record store today and saw a twelve inch called orange something or another by cygnus x or something like that...any chance thats you? |

no prob man i have never seen kool keith live. the last time he came through dallas i had to go with my parents because i was too young to get in, and he didn't show up and highly doubtful that 12inch was me ahaahahahahahaha |

i saw him live years ago at the fenix underground in seattle. the show was actually pretty wack. i had another chance to see him live at reed college in portland oregon but he cancled the show because his mom was sick. |

first Kut Master Kurt played a nice 20 minute set, talked to the crowd the whole time..then kool keith's henchman came out and did some introducing..then blue flowers comes on and kool keith comes out in some sunglasses and just kills it..he handed out thongs to about 15 girls and then pulled them onstage for a song... was pretty funny..rapping about pissing on them and what not.. handed out 10 cds from the up and coming album..pretty much the only people that got them were holding out 20's...i had spent too much on beer and only had 4 dollars..haha..held out a dollar and he just looked at me like wtf and put it in his pocket..no cd.. it was nice to see in such a small place..maybe 100 people there. he played alot of old stuff and hardly anything from the new album.. i was too drunk to remember enough specifics...i did end up with though |
