Wow, melodies, guitars, countermelodies, drums that don't
sound like they came out of fruity loops, oh look a bassline
too. Is that progression I hear?

Man this is way better than a lot of things I hear on the
internets. Sounds like you put effort into it.

This track is really very good. Parts reminded me of Aphex
in a number of ways (something I don't recall saying more
than twice before in all my time here). If I was being
really picky the drum track could do with some fucked up
things in there, sudden stops/resumptions the odd
reversal...crap like Aphex does. Everything else sounds
exactly like it should. :)

thanks for being picky! i know i can't step to Aphex but
what an encouraging comparison to make.

there are some subtle breaks and beat fuckery but i wanted
the emphasis to be more on the space that the drums are
speeding through.

the track is named for this bridge downtown. when you drive
it at night, the guard rails and street lines speed by but
the city on the east side and the Puget Sound on the west
side of the bridge slowly roll past. that's sort of the
sound i was going for.

i don't really like that snare much, and the beat is a bit
too disjointed i think, but it's a nice enough track. could
do with some more "spice", maybe. i would like to remix
this, i think. it's got that "i want to remix it" vibe.

the stereo separation is a bit MUCH though, isn't it?

hmm. yeah i definitely like a wide stereo on some aspects of
a track.

if you really do want to remix it, drop me an email, i could
try to put together some samples or something for you. no
pressure though.
