Mike Flowers pops where this really cheesy ironic band that
took the piss out of mainland European pop music.
Aphex Twin did a remix or something for them.

Isn't that an orchestra? The Mike Flowers Pops Orchestra?

I'm sure the world is itching to relive the five minutes
that saw London gripped by the "tongue in cheek" Lounge
Music revival of 1995 or 6, whichever blighted year it was,
and seek out copies of Exploring New Sounds in Hi-Fi/Stereo
or whatever record Stereolab based their career of releasing
the same record once a year for ten years on.

Check out The Gentle People, they bought into this fad, and
they're on teh aphresh relax label.
