yeah, you use this method called "chunking" to group the
numbers together and help memorize them.

ever wonder why telephone numbers are seven digits long?
because humans can only really remember 7, plus or minus 2
numbers at a time, in short-term memory at least. the dash
in the phone number helps you to "chunk" both number groups
together too. pretty cool stuff.

oh and totally unrelated. but, in the US (other countries
too prolly), when you are on a big interstate or tollway,
etc.. for every 5 miles of road, there has to be a 1 mile
stretch that is completely straight. why you ask? in case
of emergency airplane landings.
