hi,
now that im getting a decent (to me) collection, i want to
try and keep good care of them ...

a lot of records i've bought had shoddy sleeves, or no
sleeve at all (record just slides into the cover)

looking to buy some new blank sleeves, and maybe even some
of those clear sleeves to put everything in to protect the
cover

anyone know of any good websites online?
there appear to be a few on ebay but they seem expensive

i used to keep all my records in those clear plastic
sleeves
but the fact of the matter is
they make your record collection look reall crappy
and you cant read the spines when viewed from the side
like when they live on a shelf

I keep ALL my records in plastic sleeves covering the whole
deal..... if they are roughly the same looking kind or in my
case ALL the same plastic ones, it looks good. I dont store
my records on a shelf to I can see the spine, I have too
many to do that, they are kept in perfect sized wooden boxes
facing forward.

Without the plastic sleeves the vinyl covers/jackets start
to show wear pretty quickly with use. Its defenitly worth
keeping them in the plastic sleeves.

I cant begin to guess how much money people like myself have
spent on vinyl, id rather have it kept proper than "look"
good on a shelf. And the look pretty awesome how I have them
too anyway.

You can use ebay, its how I got all that stuff, cheap too,
plastic sleeves, inside paper ones to hold the actual vinyl,
black or white blank jackets for them.. etc.... even
dividers like in the record stores to alpabetize your stuff.
Its all worthwhile.
