if electronic artists had to provide the power to their own
gear, you would see a branch/genre of electronica unique
from everything else and truly awesome

for example if while sitting in front of all your stuff you
had a bicycle chair that you know provided the needed
electricity

i am retarded

do you see what i am saying? i cant come up with the 'why'
it would be a significant thing, but i can come up with that
'what' and the 'how'.

the 'why', i guess is because of energy i guess? i would
have the necessary energy to hit a drum using my shoulder,
elbow, and wrist and arm muscles. im able to use that energy
because i was born, i was born because... etc.. reach as far
back as you want to with that.

now think of a synthesizer of any kind. it gets its energy
to do its stuff from the wall socket. you know, it's
borrowed energy. to perform all that stuff on borrowed
energy. you get what im saying? what if the electrical
energy was provided by you as well as the performance
material, etc. etc.

appear green

this topic reminds me of some discussion i had years ago
with some rock fanatic who claimed that electronic music was
bad, only because it was played back by machines ...and I
said something like "well, if music/art is better whem its
hard to make/play, then just pretend that the electronic
artist was blindholded and standing on one hand while
composing his computer-music" :p
