no, Clarkson is an unfunny prick.

Everyone watches it, its good telly. Clarkson is the
journalist equivalent of Che Guevara. This statement does
not hold up to even the mildest scrutiny but I stand by it
all the same.

I agree with Dannn, it is good telly.

and I don't like cars at all, not interested in them one bit
but I can watch this and have moderate fun.

from my point of view, he is funny
maybe you watched that show so much and now you hate it
while i watched it just three times (+ some videos on
youtube)

hehe

well, Clarkson is a bit of a dickhead, but you can
see that as a given and still watch the programme.

i find Clarkson a hundred times funnier and wittier than
redbum for example... and that says a lot.

yeah it used to be on a lot when i was at home. my dad would
watch it drunk on a sunday evening.

I just found their jokes all very samey and formulaic..
their descriptions of cars and the constant bashing of
certain brands of cars just got too much.. it's too much,
too often.

I agree. Nevertheless you won't find a program about cars
which is remotely as interesting as Top Gear. Just try
german tv - yikes!

I watched FIfth Gear once. Seemed forced and derivative. It
was the episode with a Porsche vs. helicopter race

Is that Toady from Neighbours on the right on Fifth Gear?

As for Top Gear. Clarkson himself says he's a twat so what's
to worry about? It's not really about cars as such now. They
just fuck around.

having orgasms when the cars reach top speeds.

yeah, I used to love it... I watched it every week when I
was in Europe... I remember one episode where they were
reviewing this car which seemed designed based around the
back seat for some reason, and the guy set up this rig of
pullys and stuff to be able to drive it from the back
seat... it was hilarious! :P

they play enough of his stuff to get him on.
