Impakt eschews the traditional mixing desk in favour of the
mixing sofa.

You guys should also check out the samples from Fah's
new volume as well. We've been sitting on those tracks for
about a year now so it's time they get put up :)

Needless to say, but I'll do it anyway; they are awesome.

d'aww man, thanks :D

you already know what i think of your volume, but i'm gonna
say it again. This is probably going to be the best EAP
volume to date. Epic.

impakt your track 4. Squarepants off 19 is one of the best
acid tracks ive ever heard and I think its equally as good
as some of the best analord tracks. When is it going to be
available in full and when are these likely (if ever) to be
put on wax?
brilliant work.....

Cool that you like it man, it'll be available very soon.
Just waiting for staz to finish some stuff for his volume. I
don't know if it will ever be but on wax, I can only hope :)

It's a cool synth, very easy to program and with a nifty
routing matrix + step sequencerø

offline blanco2 on 2006-07-31 16:46 [#01946903]

or 'empty analord plagiarists' depending on how you look at
it
16 eps of blatant fanboyism is impressive though,
congratulations

production is fucking awful, some tunes are ok, but its like
a preset casio function in texture its far too clean and
sterile

impakt you are a talented musician, you should be signed,
but this road is going nowhere. everything about this
series is a mimic of what we already have, the synth sounds,
the acid lines and reverb, why bother? i suppose it kills
time in between analord 12 and 13, although noise;s afx
imitation as cashmadridjive was impressive
i prefer your drexciya homages

I'm glad you think so, but I do what I like and I've
contributed with two volumes to the eap series because I
love the analords and I think it's very giving to make music
in the same style.

I'm also glad that you noticed it's not the only thing I do
:)

Definitely some profressional stuff man. You could pin any
of these tracks on an Analord release, but at the same time
it has its own sound. Keep it up with the hardware, good
sheeit!

offline impakt from where we do not speak of! on 2006-07-31 20:37 [#01947062]

I wouldn't say it's nearly as good as anything of the
analord series(except maybe ranky :p) But I still enjoy
making it and listening to it, which is the reason anyone
would and should do it..

I have to say, its really nice work. But I am a little
disappointed, like blanco2, at how akin it is to the
analords. But then again, I've been influenced by the
analords in my music, I just try to avoid sounding like it.
Could you point me in the direction of tracks you've done in
other styles? I'm really interested in hearing it. Nice work
:)
