I am debating upgrading to pro because i am REALLY into my photography at the moment (i mighteven invest in an SLR to acompany my ixus) but i can't bring myself to pay for a pro account... anyone reakon its worth it? |

if you like the 'community' thing that flickr has, it's probably worth it.. otherwise, get your own domain, it will be more flexible.. |

actually I havent! and there are no funny angled road sign pictures! There are however loads of just crap photos, but thats not the point really is it! |

well i am quite proud of some of the pics, I mean i know I'm not a professional and what not and i suck most of the time but i really enjoy taking pictures. Like with music i like sharing them aswell! Plus when i finally elave the country it will be nice to show people the pics im taking..... Lots fo reasons to do it really I just can't bring myself to pay for something! I'm to much of a cheap skate! |

I bought a Flickr Pro account but I don't know why. All you get is extra "Bandwidth". I don't even need that. The tagging up of stuff is quite nice though but you get that with the basic. This is why I keep running out of money. I do things on impulse. Go to zooomr instead. I'm sure that'll do you fine. Also the geotagging is pretty damn useful. Haven't tried it properly yet because I have a flickr account that I've paid for stupidly. Also, I have my own sodding website which I upload pictures on. I just don't understand myself at times. |

thanks for that man, saved me a fair bit of money there hehe. Its not as easy qithout teh flickr style pre shrinking (i like that saves on space) but free pro account what more do you want! |

Bah! I just make my own photoblog and use the webspace provided by my internet provider! It's in my profile. Updating is not the same, because I have to do html to about 3 or 4 pages each time I have a new picture. Not using PHP or CSS or anything easier like that. Old fashioned. Fun to do though, if you are serious. But if you won, stick with that until it runs out. Maybe you will have some more money by the time it's up. |
