I like the Mulatu Astatke tracks used in "Broken Flowers".
He's the "Father of Ethio-Jazz" apparently. I really know
fuck all about non-western music in general though, I
suppose it's something I can get into in my middle age along
with jazz and classical.

i've had a quick listen to that rowe/nakamura between thing
(it's really long), and dunno really..i will have to give it
a proper listen as im sure it's intriguing, but it sounded
really experimental..i must be in a proper mood for that i
