lies!

In the early days of the Cold War, three men claim they
were chosen by a powerful new government agency to undertake
a historically perilous journey. They claim this well-funded
operation was staffed with the best scientists and engineers
using technology pioneered by the Nazis, and they created
the most powerful machine ever built.

In July of 1969, they claim, they climbed aboard an enormous
rocket assembled in a Florida swamp, and were sent hurtling
at incredible speeds into the sky … all the way to the
Moon! Two of them even claim they landed on the Moon, got
out, and walked around!

And what prize did they bring back from this momentous
journey? Well … they have a bunch of black and white
photos of unidentifiable persons in bulky white spacemen
costumes in a field of gravel (but curiously without any
stars in the black sky) -- and several bags of gray, dusty
rocks.

didn't they prove it was a camera/exposure issue causing the
stars not to show up in the pics?

yup. its blatantly because everything else drowns them out.
i mean, the sun was out. even with no scattering atmosphere,
the sun is a wee bit brighter than the other stars.

I remember seeing a program hosted by Sir Patrick Moore that
disproved each of the conspiracy theorist's "reasons" why
the moon landings were faked. It was a lot more
convincing/scientific in its approach than similar programs
supporting the "fake" camp. Consequently, I think we did go
to the moon.

i "think" we did because we have learned so much from the
returned apollo samples, which far outweigh the few grams
the soviets could muster.

there was no reason to fake the missions apart from cold war
propaganda, and if it was just propaganda then why not just
stop after a single "been there done that" landing? no, they
kept going with extended missions until 1972.

and we also have armalcolite, hapkeite and other minerals
that are known only from the moon.

Examples of this mineral [armalcolite] were later discovered
in various locations on Earth as well, such as Smoky Butte,
Garfield County, Montana, USA in lamproite dikes and plugs;
Disko Island, (Greenland) in native iron; Pripyat Swell
(around the Pripyat River, Ukraine) in trachybasalt and in
South African kimberlites.

ive seen some of the proper stuff before, in a microscope
slide. NASA go touring universities etc. with moon rocks.
apparently it was from the Apollo 14 site.

Thor Heyerdahl travelled to the moon on a boat made of balsa
and cannabis. He never went to polynesia at all.
