Absolute nonsense. Everyone knows Booth was a gas fitter not
a traffic warden.

Much better. A near perfect biography. Though no mention has
been made about the time the pair laboured in the arid
Peruvian slug mines in mid-late 1952, or the hushed up
"blancmange and swarfega" incident. Some things best left
out of history.

I'm pretty sure Rob Brown got killed in 1995 by a freak
exploding vinyl accident during a tour of the record
pressing plant, where the infamous duo were to see their the
"Anti EP" being pressed.

Warp kept it under wraps and replaced Brown with a young
garbage man called Anthony Burbage, who looked exactly like
Rob Brown.

Hence the EP produced later by the "duo", called "Garbage" -
apparently when listened to through a metal tube 36 meters
long the words "Rob is not dead" can be discerned in
"Garbagemx36". or it could be "Rob is not deaf". or "Rob is
not jam".

the later EP "We R Are Why" supposedly is also an allusion
to the dead half of the group.

alledgedly.

I think that's the only written piece about Autechre that
hasn't made me want to stab out my eyes and brain with a
cocktail stick.

Autechre are scheduled to appear on “This Is Your
Life” on ITV in 2007.

this is true, but it's noteworthy to mention that they will
be remixing the complete programme LIVE as it is being sent
out.
