Oh. I thought it had been discussed before. So what's your
opinion on this one? I was kinda disappointed when it was
released and compared to TNT. Now I like it, and the opening
track is awesome. The discogs should include the Tortoise/Ae
collaboration 12", btw

it's a great album, the production is incredible. I always
thought "TNT" sounded rather dull, productionwise.

that 12" isn't really a collaboration, is it? they're
remixes by Autechre, aren't they? I even have that 12"
myself, so I should have a look myself, haargh.

I'll see if I can smack it into the discog.

It's two remixes yes.

yeah, but not a "collaboration", if you catch my drift. :)

I added it as a Tortoise release, under the clumsy title
"Remixes of "Ten-Day Interval" by Autechre", but for some
reason it shows up as "Remixes of".

You're right. No collab. Imagine how good the discog would
be if me and other members could add releases as quickly as
you did now ;)

The first one (MNLWND) is the best.
Also, check out Bark Psychosis's "Hex" if you like this sort
of thing.

but that's the second
or the third (considering rhythms, resolutions & clusters)

I've listened to millions over and over again the last days.
The two long tracks are fabulous. It's Djed and Song1,
right?

McEntire is a great producer...i wouldn't appreciate
Stereolab's "Cobra" so much if it wasn't for his production
and composing ideas

a band of dedicated, open-minded musicians, plus a skillfull
and open-minded producer - what else do you need to produce
a perfect album ?
