LAZY_TITLE

Hope he does something similart to "For Frosty Mornings". I
didn't like his attempt to be a post-rocker on his last
album.

Sweet stuff. Nothing like his previous stuff, though. Kinda
experimental oriental sound. Me likes

He's jumping on the bandwagon with this one me thinks.
Listening to Fönal and Digitals releases and making a poor
copy. The next album on Type by Svarte Greiner is very good,
looking forward to buying it.

He's always been a bandwagoneer though, hasn't he? First,
with his early stuff on Merck, it was clip-hop, when that
sound was big. Then, on his debut album it was downtempo
glitch. Then, on his second album, it was folk/acoustronica
during the explosion of that sound. Now, it's psych ambient
with Fonal and co. His sound definitely changes with what he
listens to, and every album's been a completely different
musical take. What's interesting is that even though he
wears his influences on his sleeve with each release, he
still manages to bring someting worthwhile to the table.
Though, I don't think this is near as majestic as Tangled
Wool.

Svarte greiener is a part of Deaf Center, right?

Yeah, Svarte Greiner (Erik Skodvin) is in Deaf Center.

Fönal:

Anything by Es, all the release are good. The Paavoharju
release is a great record, they also an mp3 release on the
miasmah site.

Killa (folk/rock) have a shambolic charm, I like both
albums. Watching them live is funny.

Most of the other releases are average.

Ok. I'm a big fan of Deaf Center. How does it sound compared
to that?

It's a rougher, more abrasive sound than the last Deaf
Center album. A lot of hiss and static, along side
discordant guitar drones and strings. Cinematic as usual,
but more distressing than melancholic. If you like the new
Xela album I am sure you will like this, it's just not
wanky like the dead sea.
