Hello From The Black Dog

Hello all at Xltronic, a friend pointed us at this site and
we'd like to thank you for your kind words/posts and
support.

At the moment we are holed up in the studio finishing
another 12" for Soma, it's pretty dark with lots of bass :)
We are also practicing on laptops to go out and play "live",
we have a gig at Pressure in Glasgow on the 28th of July and
we are playing two sets at this years Bestival, one "up for
it" and one chilled set. After this we plan to play live a
fair bit more, it feels nice to be back in the chair after
so long :)

Right back to it...Once again, thank you...

Martin/Ken/Richard

:) It's morning and we are done...The new 12" on Soma will
be called Floods, keep and eye open for it.

There's also a final remix 12" of Black Dog tracks in the
SND series on Dust Science, remixes from Orlando Voorn,
Vector Lovers and Derailleur. If you guys want to get our
stuff early or a better prices it would be worth signing up
to the Dust Science newsletter as they always give people on
that list first dibs.

@Cygnus, we'll be coming to America in 2007 - I think we are
going to DEMF.

The Equinox Radio Show has been lost forever, no-one seems
to have a copy, including us!

@w M w - How did you guess!!! :)

Come to St. John's, Newfoundland. It's a small city, and I'd
probably be the only person there, but I'll pay twice as
much for my ticket! ;)

Seriously though, I haven't listened to any old Black Dog
stuff (have been meaning to for a while though), but the
Plaid material I've heard is nice. Keep up the good work,
and it is very cool to see a group we all love post here! :)

No, we signed up to say hello and thanks for the support, as
well as letting you know the latest info, sorry if it seems
like spam - it's just chit chat, easy now...

@Beep
We may do some more small nights, but making music and
putting out records is taking up most of our time at the
moment :) We should also be teaming up with C90 at some
point again.

@mortsto-x
Martin and Richard help run Dust Science Linky
they've been working with Ken on tBd for around 4 years
which came about through Martin's friendship with Ken over
the last ten years.

Touring Europe
Yes, we will be making an effort to get out and as it's so
close it will happen, we just aren't sure when but hitting
the road is on the list.

We'll swing by with more news soon, take care - WoOOOooof

I love so much Trojan Horus pts. 1 and 2 on the new album
that I rarely get to hear the rest, as I keep skipping back.
Except "Alt/Return/Dash/Kill" amongst others forces me to
press on. Great job!
