You know when you have loads of music but you've heard it
all and it's difficult to think of what to listen to, well
it's sort of like a great depression. I need some
recommendations (electronic music), preferably something
with a kick to it, like chris clark/gridlock/quinoline
yellow. kthx

Why don't you try listening to something that's not
electronic for a change? It can be really refreshing...

But ok, I'll recommend something electronic: Try Broadcast's
latest album Tender Buttons. It kicks and rocks and is
electronic with a lot of great songs...

For something a bit more electronic (I should learn to read
the first post properly) check the new album from
Various Production.

I've been meaning to buy some Beefcake for YEARS but I can't
find it anywhere and I dislike buying stuff online. Might
have to suck it up and do that eventually though.

I used to be like that, it would give me a reason to go into
the city. But when I got my first cd in the mail it felt
gooood.

yeah, I'll admit it's a two-sided coin. The main reason I
dislike it isn't fear of credit card fraud or anything
logical, but only my distaste for delayed gratification. If
I order a CD online it means I have to forget about it for a
few days or else I'll go nuts. Plus, I lived in a
relatively small town most of my life and so record stores
(good ones anyway) are still somewhat of a thrill, kind of
the excuse to go into the city that you described. The
upside of online is obviously the selection though, which no
physical record store can feasably match.

Just put on The Flashbulb - Kirlian Selections and you'll
everything you want to hear.. all sort of styles you are
familiar with but now after a face lift.

See it as a very good alternative of Drukqs.

Distance- Traffic
Fzv-Assimilate (check it out on boomkat, kind of reminds me
of Speedy J A Shocking Hobby)
Speedy J-A shocking Hobby (its a playfull little dish, I
think you'll like it)

Amon Tobin's work kinda blends nicely with Chris Clarks
Empty the Bones of You, Check out Golfer vs. Boxer,
Reanimator and Sordid,

also good- Milanese 1up whatever happend to this guy?

gwely likes the flashbulb!

i find he is the cliche idm guy, although very good. all his
stuff sounds like someone else to me. it's not something
i've come across since hearing aphex twin, venetian snares,
squarepusher.

Kirlian Selections is similar to drukqs, like aesthetics
said, with the long 28 track tracklist and random
piano/violin, or minimalistic synth tracks.

he is the ceephax twin
