I only think violence is justified, when its in response to violence (and even then, not always). I do not respect him at all for doing this, even if Materazzi DID say something about his mother in the hospital. Why not just say "fuck you you piece of shit" and then play on, and beat them, and shove it in their face that way? Sure, emotions and adrenaline were probably running high, but it still doesn't justify it. I think its sad/pathetic. |

ok, you should start with the idea that nobody's perfect, and that some goals are absolutely unreachable for some when they're easily achieved for others. btw it's easier for physically weak persons to explain that violence is always bad than for physically strong persons. i wonder why. also, you have no idea what happens in one's mind. zidane is someone who doesn't speak, he is extremely shy and reserved, he is extremely sensitive therefore can suffer extremely from a few words. this is a problem that takes ages to solve when it can be solved. and it's a problem he is not responsible for. we all have bad habits, some can lead to violence even is there are no bad intentions. he did something forbidden, was punished for it. materazzi is a cunt, i'd think he deserved it (a heavy injury would've been better maybe). he is too old to be taught with words how to behave. |
