he says he doesn't listen to anything electronic because it bores him, though he listened to aphex twin and autechre some years ago. now he listens to classic music and neil young :) btw, he was pretty drunk at the time interview was recorded. |

well, it's definitelly over now. he mentioned he likes it analogue, about how he makes albums - usually persues all sort of ideas, then throw them all away and record a whole album in 2 months. about his influences (beach boys, neil young, beatles,..) stuff he likes (see above), then he answered to a question about how does he finf the fact that some people find him to be electronic star..first he said that he doesn't really differ music like that, and that it's not really electronic what he is doing since all of the sounds he uses are prcessed guitar sounds, and that he most of the time feels like just like the rest of us fans, often feels like shit and so..then about his future collaborations, but i forgot about those, he mentioned he's doing something with ryuichi sakamoto..and then little something about his gigs - he said he doesn't play often in austria (he's austrian) because no one ever invites him, then about his memories of some small festival here in slovenia.. really a cool guy he is. |

well, he probably hears his own i suppose..but that is kinda obvious innit. |

I've seen him at Rokolectiv festival this winter (on wich I also performed) and I was not impressed at all... I guess I've had too much expectations. And it was like 20%electronica, the rest being him on guitar, wich doesn't bother me at all, but it was less than average. |
