I have just started a job working in a Vineyard and there is a polish girl who is kinda left out of things because she doesnt speak very good English. Anyone know some polish so that maybe i can be friendly and make her feel less ostracised?

Why would you want to speak to a disgusting foreigner? And not only that, a foreigner from another country?

that would be silly because you would just repeat the same shit over and over, try to teach her better english instead. or talk slowly. or just smile to her and say "let's bang 'tween the grapes" whilst trusting your groin towards her.

There is no way you can pronounce it right, so you'll just make her laugh, which is a good thing.

If it's proper Russian, it would be hard to confuse any Polish, especially if he/she is from the east of the country.
Most people understand German where I live, but the probability of confussion is higher for ze teutonic language.

you could maybe try with: "mooy polskee yest kiyepskee" (my polish is weak) try to pronounce the"i" as short as possible, not the usual "ay". the same with "e", like in "get", not like in "me".

"ssie" is the word I tried to type down. It means "sucks". The problem is that "sie" is pronounced like "śe" and have no equivalent for the consonant "ś".
The whole word should be close to "s-sh-ye", haha.
Oh forget it! Do you have skype or something?

Damn good. the "i" between consonants in polish always sounds like "e" in "me" and if it is between a consonant and a vowel it softens the consonant. That's an important thing about Polish.

"Rano" means morning, but I guess in a majority of slavic languages it means early. It does in Russian as far as I remember.
Evening = wieczór [vyechoor] Noon = południe [po-wood-nye] Afternoon = popołudnie [po-po-wood-nye] Tomorrow = jutro [yootro] Yesterday = wczoraj [vchoray] Today = dzisiaj [recording needed]
enough!!!
