These are bits I made after I found out my friend had been
murdered. I won't be finishing any of them. Don't listen if
you don't want to.

degrade

phew. I'm off the hook!

sorry about your friend, though.

I like degrade best, it's very heavy and pounding. Too bad
you won't finish it, seems like good idms.

Actually I just listened to them. I'm sure they sounded
better when I made them. I should have listened again before
I posted. Ah well, fuck it.

_gvarek_
this is more genericker than them

Haha, I've never really heard the original. Only remixes :D

degrade: Really reminded me of something from Draft which is
no bad thing as that's an album I've really grown to love.
I've be interested in hearing more of that. It's the beats
that did it I think.

untitled or Part: Didn't like the actual tone but the rhythm
was good. I'd like to hear it again but with a different
tone. The ambient noise in the background was ace.

180d45: YEAH! I really want to hear more of this. Absolutely
fantastic.

:) You need to keep it that way because once you've heard
the original you will realise it is futile ever making music
again. What The Beat? is the pinnacle of emotional music.
You will dance and cry tears of happiness and sadness at the
same time.

Since I've come to accept you won't make longer tracks I can
now simply enjoy your music without unfairly expecting
things, they're little hints of what may have been. I like
"180d45", it's got a bit of a sci-fi film soundtrack type
thing going on at the back that I liked, the beats
merciless, but not unforgiving, ie they're not too much.
Some very nice "crunchiness" in Degrade which I liked, again
with a bit of a Dr Who synth. "Frustrated" is the best of
the bunch and could be a cool club classic.

Gracias. I wish I knew how to get the sharpness out of the
lead synth on frustrated. It is a bit too piercing but any
changes and it doesn't sound the way I want...I still have a
hell of a lot to learn. You got any new stuff in the works?

*insert witty remarc here*

but on a serious note. short pieces you made in like a
couple of hours or something are cool because they capture
the moment really well. you should call them "snapshots" :D

i dig 180dettgrtg

I think it is that whole needing to spend more time that
gets me...I can't go back to something because I don't get
the same feeling when I change or add to it. It invariably
ends up sounding even more shit.

untitled was awesome! didn't like 180 too much. degrade was
also great.. you should combine degrade and untitled into
one song or something...
