I can't feel sorry for most of those people. They choose to become addicts. Its not like they were on an evening stroll, fell down on a meth pipe and it accidentally went in their mouth and they smoked it. They picked up a pipe. They smoked it themselves. Now they are ugly. Its not like they didn't know there would be negative side effects. Chances are they were ex heroin addicts on methadone. Methadone enhances the high of crack and meth. A lot of people on methadone treatment become addicts of other drugs because of how methadone can enhance their high. |

So what are you trying to say? I should be perfectly happy having these people breaking into cars? Negative perceptions on hard drug use don't make people into criminals. Drug addiction turns people into criminals. Do I think they need to be shipped away to a prison? Not at all. What they need is treatment. If they had better treatment facilities or proper ways to deal with addiction it would be different. |
