yeah, i have just finished a piece. fl gives you more control but ableton is far more flexible, imo.

i can't see much point in running the fruity vst through ableton... you should try to get into ableton and use it primarily or just stick to FL

i wrote an ok lil ditty, im not sure i se all the hyoe about the programme, but maybe im just not using the cool features! the only thing thats useful is the playlist play bit where you can arrange live, but actually sequencing seems uncomfortable, i dont much like the piano roll, its a little to fiddley at the mo but i shall keep percaveering!

I'm starting to like ableton but it does seemt o make my tunes sound a bit cheesy, kinda like some funky house gay shit! but still its ok!

Ableton as much as I hate to say it is prob. the best software out there for live performance... only because there isn't anything that has as much versatility. FL just doesn't cut it..... or atleast from what I've seen ppl do with Ableton.. I woulndt want to use FL.
thats being said.. i still think hte best sequencer is the QY700. its hardware and its nice.

Not anymore. Its too unstable for live use. Because they have tried to make it work as a studio instrument.
