Im not sure I follow... cant you just use the one you
already have? Otherwise just check M-Audio's products, they
probably have one that suits you. Incidentally I have one of
these tiny LAZY_TITLE USB soundcards that I dont want

I'm after something along the same lines, but that can also
act an audio & MIDI -> USB interface. Any ideas?

And this acts as a sound card too?

i want to be able to take my laptop to a rehearsal and plug
in my usb keyboard without any latency problems. the reason
i cant use my other soundcard is because it is a pci
soundcard, designed for a desktop, that will not fit in my
laptop.

thanks for the pcmcia recommendation, i shall checki have
the available slot when i get my laptop :)

Don't go m-audio or behringer. I don't have any suggestions
for you, but stay away from those. If you only have 100 to
spend, wait a little longer when you have more saved. Its
really worth it.
