he shows his age very badly onstage . very lazy, slow.
either that or he was really high

not as lazy as Pete Townshend from The Who. I was watching
BBC Newnight yesterday and couldn't believe how bad they
were live. He's so old and lazy he can't even be bothered to
smash his guitar up at the end of the set - Bang! goes
his iconic status in my book.

Should've died young. Like Hendrix.

Have they released anything similar to 'Tactical Neural
Implant' in the past..um 15 years? You know, without shitty
electric guitars/guitar samples.

I just turned my Front 242 - Fuck Up Evil into MP3s. Fuel,
Crapage and Hymn etc are so awesome..

They were really good, Bill Leeb does himself no favors by
hiring a really young band, he looks like someones drunk
uncle. Talented guy non-the-less even though his receeding
hair looks a lot like a clowns hair. The live drummer was
spot on and was their most impressive bit of the show.

Both support band were shit, I don't know what they were
called but the first one had a really cool video set up and
then proceeded to show cliché video clips. We were trying
to predict what they would have on yet and they avoided
explosions/fire and breaking waves. We did guess speeded up
traffic, eyes and "meaningful" words flashing up.

The second support sounded like incidental music for a
tourism commercial that they would play on a hotel TV
system. The girl singer was alright to look at, but I was
put off by the guy pressing the "Demo" buttons on his
keyboard, who looked like a real sex pest.

I wish I had turned up an hour or so later.

Go and see them and miss the support.

I bought voyeur by noise unit recently (one of the many fla
aliases) since the drill album is so fantastic, but voyeur
was pretty much trash in my opinion- not worth a second
listen. Just my opinion. I almost bought the latest fla
release too but didn't; the last one I have is implode which
is really great; might be better without lyrics. I still
like flavour of the weak; it's quite evil sounding. I bet
over half the people that listen to fla are like nazis or
something. They would probably make an even cooler cult than
a music group.

Mindphaser is so fucking good, well there's not a single bad
track on Tactical, but Mindphaser just stands out.

They're probably people like that guy in the movie 'falling
down' who says 'why don't they call you guys
officer-esses'
