Are we not ghosts?

I'm kind of over-imbibed and overly-adderalled/sleep
deprived/inexplicably-bruxist, so maybe I will sorely regret
posting this come post-morning... But;
Do you ever consider/think about the non-text-translatable
aspects and outside lives of those who post here with little
or no self-explanation or interaction? (or even on most
anonymous message board for that matter) ...especially in
those who seem to try to not cause much interference, who
lonesomely pop in randomly to make their expected habitual
signature..
Or does everyone else just seem like fleeting, incorporeal
hypertext-entities that will likely be eventually erased out
of necessity? (monoid for example.. And why is most everyone
else so ineffably upset?.. ...Likely in fear
of expressing something sentimental and embarrassing through
such an inherently cold means?)

It's hard to believe that anyone really tries to (or does)
present their true self over the internet, especially when
they're trying to impress slightly-geeky forumites to
advance themselves as an integral part of a relatively
exclusive 'E'community. One that seems to justly/value
musical/artistic elitism and restless innovation, and a sort
of elusive and unspoken musical chic...

I don't know what I'm getting at. Mods: deletion here may be
applicable. I figured I could make one 'deep'
nonsense thread, since I've dutifully refrained from such
waste since my "Water Appreciation thread" a few years
back.
Anyone: Tear this thread apart. If there's anything of
substance left to shred.

I think I've already gone insane from my own relentless
rambling.

i'm not a ghost, ghosts are white sheets that have no feet,
float around and have two black patches for eyes. they also
usually make "ooooooooooohh" noises too.

you certainly have a way with words

i like think that on internet forums you only ever get an
insight into the brain. it's like thousands of brains linked
up to wires all chatting away endlessly. i find it very hard
not to say exactly what i'm thinking. people who can control
what comes out usually end up getting higher ground over
people. those cunning few

special snowflake. You and your topic are the apple of my
eye right now.

Yeah but faceless strangers on the street or something
don't, on a regular basis, present you with some
'acceptable', slightly cliqueish norm of communication. Over
and over, with sort of unspoken virtual camaraderie.. It's a
strange petri dish.... But it's undeniably great when no one
is interested in your interests... No one who shares a sort
of isolated, group-created venacular..;

R U Serios?, b7, +Fav, etc, etc,.. I'm no longer hip
with the jive...

Many people here seem to be reaching out.. in some odd way
for an alternative to real-life acceptance.. something
that's entirely unrelated to music, or even discussion of
common subjects.

But I'm still grinding my teeth...
Kids, don't do drugs. Even if they are legally prescribed in
laughable amounts to 15-year old kids.

i think you're wrong. i think most people (like myself) find
xltronic fun. i see it a lot like a game. it's fun having
debates and stuff, making jokes, taking the piss, whilst
sitting in your own room! you can be having a civil
conversation whilst browsing porn at the same time! it's
great

You are the bee's knees, my precious gatekeeper of
indefinable internet sanity!

I guess this random bullshit can't be deleted since a
gracious mod has directly condoned it!

the ineternet is the ultimate escapism. its the perfect tool
to completly avoid anything about reality. your eyes are
absorbed by a flickering screen and your brain completly
clsoes down. It's devoid of any relation to the world hence
the term "irl - in real life" like this is some big computer
game where we each talk to ourselves whilst pretending
someone is listening!

I was truley saddened the other day when i was told i should
try internet dating as "everybody does it". at that line i
nearly put a lighter to my computer and left the realms of
cyber space forever! I refuse to remain devoid of any
reality and plug in, says he sat there typing away! i'll
shut up now hehe I've no idea where i was gong with this!

I wasn't trying to say that most people use the forum as an
alternative to real human relations... It's that they use it
for a separate purpose entirely.. occasionally in lieu of
actually talking with people who probably wouldn't be
interested in the average discussions here, or would not
find humour or intellectual worth in a such things uttered
out loud.

Also, I might 'certainly have a way with words' more so In
this state splattering them randomly without consideration
of consequence.
Dog Belch could Beauteously-English me under the table,
where I wouldn't emerge for a fortnight.LOL!

God I suck. Though I do have the right to since it's
my stupid pointless thread of reading my own rambling
garbage... masturbatorily.... Literally.

Ugh.. We ugly, dumb Americans should not be allowed to post
spontaneously-combusting topics at such wee hours.

I don't feel I'm wasting time cruising around the internets,
it's a big part of reality, you can and should escape in
both directions. And my irl has been affected by internet
denizens. You can't take messageboards too seriously of
course, but it's the same way with life.

PS yeah the porn is awesome. I haven't jacked off in a week
because of meds I'm on but I'm rounding some up now.
Saturday night's alright for fapping.

Ezkerraldean: - Drink some 'merican swill and things
will become much, much clearer!

Raz0rBlade_uk: I do actually write poetry quite
often. I like Allen Ginsberg and E.E. Cummings and all the
other giberishy stuff that I should like, being as I am.
If you want to read some send me an email at
aeon_omission@hotmail . com, since the gay-o-meter is too
off the charts to post them here. Though I guess you can't
really have much fun in life unless you learn to accept such
readouts from the machine.

Ophex Twin: Fapping; Possibly one of the best
xlt colloquialisms I've carelessly forgotten!
*Faps one out for Team Ophecks*
Unfortunately most of the schtuff spewed all over the
ceiling tiles.
Hey, I'm young.

No thanks. This thread already has a strict, undeniable
purpose.
I don't need to mess it up with textual pink doyleys and
sequined froo-froo, however enticing that may be to the lot
of ya. ...Even writing slightly-sensitive erotica poems
about having sex with beautiful, large-breasted schoolgirls
is gay (according to Websters).

But if anyone wants to read them give me an email at the
aforementioned address.
Though I warn you, I'm no thatne, or Paul F. Savage-calibre
minstrel.
I'm just a giant phallic-headed something or
other..and...... I give up... ech.

I feel I must warn everyone about the ghosts that disguise
themselves as food and hide on peoples plates. They are very
dangerous and very tasty, but once you've eaten them they're
in your stomach and that can make them both happy and sad at
the same time which has unimaginable results. I always check
my food for ghosts.

i'm not so sure that anyone round these parts has a true
self, and even if they did, i'm sure that xltronic would be
an inadequate screen on which to project that image.

our current collective focus is on something that isn't
true, sure it's ephemeral but it's a beautiful lie.
