can anyone help? -i'm going to buy a new laptop for making music on. would i have to buy an external soundcard for the cheapest new mac laptop or is latency not really an issue with the standard mac soundcard? if that's the case, i may be tempted to buy a mac... |

there's really good software for the mac that you can't get for the pc. its standard for mac laptops to have firewire, i can't imagine not having it. if youre getting an external audio card, you gotta have that. while my windows-based laptop is just awesome for making music, i wish i had a mac so that i could try out software like digital performer, logic... |
