Anyone know if you can use these with onboard soundcards. I
was thinking of seeing if theyw ould work on my laptop. I
use them on my desktop and well they are much better than my
soundblaster drivers!
any ideas?

they'll work if it is an onboard soundblaster, if it's just
some generic thing then no

most things can do that anyway, look for an option called
something like 'stereo mix' in microphone options

Try your luck with Asio4all? It works with most
things...

this driver kicks asss!
bought myself a SB-Live with LiveDriveII for midi-keyboard.

it cost me 27€ and now my latency decreased from
a couple of hundreds to about 8ms!

8-O

sounds so good i get eargasm...

i tried them the with my audigy zs notebook back when it
wasn't 100 % conmpatible with that card. had quite some hard
time it - crashed alot especially when fucking with the
onboard routing.

one thing that i loved was the fact that you can totally
bypass all enhancing functions and get a really linear
response. i was quite shocked turning them off and listening
to tracks again

i figure theres people with better equipment on here,
but its incredible what impact the correct driver gives
you.

and yes, listening to lots of tracks again here 2 :)
