It's totally a departure from The Houseband Spirit and kind of leans on folksy but I like it nonetheless.

have to listen to it. quite a wicked artist because i just like one track by him - khoms. and i just love it. one of the best tracks eva!

yeah same here, khoms is such an excellent track, probably one of the best tracks released on planet-mu. not too keen on the rest of his stuff

he was working quite a bit with ekkehard ehlers lately and they both released similar albums. i like ehlers one a lot more.

Whats the name of the new Ekkehard?
This new Leafcutter is ok. Theres no really great tracks, but there is a really nice moment on the first track, "Let it begin" where a mournful violin sweeps you back down after a nice buildup (3:58)... that's about all I really like off it so far.
