It's actually quite nice, although the "grime" tracks lack
the spunky technostyle of the Spac EP.

ahh, love hate relationship (more love for the music in the
first place though, but id like to own the music i love).

in that recent triple j interview, he was talking about how
rdj didnt want analord on cd because he wanted it all
analogue or something, but grant must have talked him into
it.
amen andrews isnt really the kinda thing that has to be
analogue only, but perhaps ep over one album.

It's a fun album to stick on to listen to a few tracks at a
time. I love his reworking of classic tunes and samples. I
have loved screwface in all its guises from it's Kemet
release in 95. The version on Champion Jungle Sound is
probably my favourite but Lukes effort while lighter is
cool.

I prefer the Spac EP, far more.. varied. But the album, I've
listened to it a few times, in the car, whilst doing
something else, and ..it's unsatisfactory, it's alright,
but, pretty poor. If I wanted rude jungle there's plenty of
the real thing out there, if I want some arch prankster
putting in slightly different samples in a standard dnb
framework with a far more misses than hits, then I'll listen
to this.

yeah, the EP is better, but I quite like some of the tracks
on this too. there's some over the top sampling/"borrowing"
that can get a bit tiring, mind.

i just discovered this after searching what.cd for dubstep
and i really like it. i think if you listen expecting mad
jungle you might be dissapointed, but the bass is the heart
of this album.
