hello,

i am preparing for my fist live dj set

i am going to play stuff from druqs and stuff from go
plastic, the faster tunes with many htings going on.

is there any other vinyls available that would contribute to
this sort of set.

i have heard you mention hard normal daddy, would this go
well ?

thanks

start fastish (140-150bpm) slowly come down to 80 or totally
beatless noisefest then work back up to mentalist bpm.

My personal favourite is to start with some weird ambienty
stuff for a few seconds putting strange noises in there.
Allow some snare rushes to *just* cut in and back out again
then fucking annihilate your crowd with some insane noise
(ie. the last 30secs of "My Fucking Sound" by the 'pusher)
:) HAVE FUN THO!

check out Hard normal daddy and Big loada by 'pusher. Also
Amon Tobin's earlier stuff would go down well. And getting a
hold on some Kid 606 stuff would be grate.

castles in the sky
who let the dogs out

Not to forget Bogdan Raczynski fella.

Yeah mate, I'd go with Who Let the Dogs Out and Castles in
the Sky. Try Riva & Danii Minogue also. That drives the
kiddies wild with excitement - those breakdowns are ace.

Venetian Snares. Your set needs whatever Venetian Snares you
can your hands on.

fat controller is wicked, and has quite a broad appeal, also
if you play something like the bladerunner soundtrack (90
ish bpm) in with 180bpm stuff it can really work. play
cylobs rewind if you want people to get happy, then take it
through electro, maybe drop in some leftfield if you seem to
be losing them and then bring the tempo up from there. also
find some cheap james brown records as extra ammo if you
should need it or possibly luke vibert is good to bridge
between normal breaky stuff and weirder tracks you may have.
good luck
