sony are a bunch of fucking dirty liars. all their demos are cg, and their gran turismo demo was running off a fucking pc! are they just going to carry on showing fake stuff and then release the console to a pitifully disappointed audience? if they don't rethink the entire set of hardware then they just shouldn't bother tbh. developers won't want to code their games on this half working pile of crap! |

my brother just traded in all his games and consoles (ps2, etc) for a discount on an xbox360. he didn't want his old games anyway and it wound up costing him something like $200 for the xbox360, three games and some other stuff. pretty neat i guess. |

all those going for the xbox will miss out on the only worthwile games; metal gear solid 4 (and more if they make more), silent hills and final fantasies. I'm not planning on getting a ps3 *just* to play those games, though, so I'll probably sponge off my roomate instead. |

i played the original metal gear solid for about ten minutes before my attention span exploded with boredom. that is a shitty game and so are all the other metal gear solid games (probably). if i wanted to experience metal gear solid again, i would watch Escape From New York and enjoy myself way more. |

silent hill 2 was on the xbox and it ruled. mgs games are pretty average, although the mgs4 TRAILERS rocked. ff, eh. same games every time, ff3 on the snes was the pinnacle. and ff tactics, of course. but then there's god of war, devil may cry, ico/sotc and katamari! those games make me actually want a ps2, and i'd get one too, if i wasn't piss poor. now the ps3, iono. only game that looks worthwhile is assassin's creed, but that does in turn look pretty amazing. |

ten minutes.. on first play, that'd get you through the tutorials? all games suck until you're done with tutorials. and don't you badmouth escape from new york! that's a classic! "*grunt* call me snake." |

ff = story driven seven is the pinnacle. nine is quite awesome too. eight and ten are about equal.. x-2 was.. weird... 2/4, 5 and 3/6 are quite ok. I never played one or tactics. |

I would go for xbox just because of games. jade empire looks awesome and this new game mass effect too. is there any as good rpgs on playstation at all? |
