do you find it easy getting yourself to do exercise?
i personally find it easy to start but i usually end up stopping after 5 minutes out of pure boredom. i also don't enjoy getting really sweaty. i hate the itchy feeling against your clothes.
also, do you have a good metabolism? if yes, do you not have to do much exercise to stay in good shape?

Exercising feels like a chore but once you get into a regime it becomes enjoyable. I used to swim every morning and jog everynight but I've been out of the loop for so long.

yeah, my main issue right now is not being aware of my body. I'll drink and smoke, eat unhealthy crap, and sit around all day wondering why my chest hurts. I wish I could just tap into that resource I know I have. But it takes determination and alot of slaps to the face. SNAP OUT OF IT. THIS IS YOUR MORTAL BODY. TREAT IT WITH SOME RESPECT. The worst thing I do is plan, because I never live up to my standards. I'll break a rule here and there then go into an all or nothing thought process where everything is fucked so why bother.

One of the main issues is hoping for an external force to throw you into the fitness regime. Because it's something you gotta do yourself. I tend to do that alot. Always wishing for some turn of events to break me away from this life full of distractions and into a more self aware state. Window shopping around Nurtrition and Organic stores with a cig in my mouth. What the fuck is wrong with me! :P

lol, i love it. i reckon if i met a nice girl it would probably give me a good kick up the arse. i definately think the main problem is distractions. i need to stop having so much sugar in my coffee and tea. i can't imagine giving up smoking though. ah god it's so difficult!

thats the problem, waiting for an external force. in your case, a girl. as for me, it's the chance for some kind of exile, maybe renting a cabin out in some woods. it's just not going to happen (at least any time soon). you've got to take action of your own volition.

The only way I really do any exercise is going to the gym for an hour with my walkman, then have a shower and be out and you feel the good kind of tired and refreshed and just generally upbeat for the rest of the day. I have some very good listening experiences on running machines and it keeps me from being bored, one of few times when I can really focus almost entirely on the music I'm listening to. Even though I just run mostly at the gym I couldnt make myself go out for a run from my house cause I just wouldnt do it, I guess I need to make an event of it, but I do really enjoy it. Im not really in a bad state anyway, smoking doesnt help that much tho... but it does make you cool

Exercise really only works for me if I'm doing something I enjoy.......... so I don't go to the gym. I run or I do yoga or I rock-climb...... if you're having trouble getting motivated, try doing something you've always wanted to try..... dosn't matter how bizarre it is..... have you thought of a martial art?
As for getting sweaty, are you for real???????? Put up with it, or get fat and die early.
And my metabolism has slowed as I've got older........ I havn't been able to exercise for 4 weeks (groin strain) and i've put on 8kg....... it will take me 3 months to loose that when i get back into it. I used to stay at a constant weight no matter what i did or did not do....... so if you are young, start exercising now, cause if you leave it too long you will NEVER get it back.

i did kung-fu for 2 years but gave up recently because i couldn't concentrate properly on it due to other more important stuff. i still practice with my tai-chi sword on a daily basis, but that's no replacement for the hard and heavy stuff. exercise requires discipline, which is something i lack sincerely. it's reflected in the way i get work done. always left to the last minute. i think it's best to get into a routine of some sort, like 100 press-ups and 100 sit-ups before i have a shower or something like that. my aim this summer is to be looking good for swimming and wooing lady friends.

Well, now that ive given the thought time to digest. I would have to say, I wouldnt go out of my way to "stroke a pelican", but if one needed such an action for the purpose of donation, then yes, it would be a possibilty. I can rest assure you that, if I did such an action, IT WOULD NOT be permissable to in anyway film or photo this event. They put shite like that on the internets, you know.
