They are playing here tonight and I'm trying to convince
people to go instead of seeing xmen3.

For those of you who have seen Mono live how is compared to
other concerts you've been to? Should I go see xmen3
instead? Plus they are playing with Pelican who've I've
never heard so info about them would be welcome too. Thanks!

Mono only comes around every once in a while
XMENIII will be around forever
then they will want you to buy it on dvd
then they will want you to buy it on the limited dvd
Then they will release XMENIV, which will be similar to
XMENI, XMENII and XMENIII, all of which are nice, but like I
said
they will be around forever

Yes I agree.

I'm looking peoples thoughts on their live show, if its wank
or not. I'm trying to convince people to go and why it would
be better to just hold off on xmen till later.

I'll go by myself if I have to, it would just be nice to
bring some folks along with me.

but i think they have split up so it's probably some other

I just saw the Pelican/Mono show not too long ago. Mono is
great, I would definitely say go to the concert. You can
always see the movie later.

x-men will be retarded and you can see it tomorrow. mono and
pelican are two of my favourite things happening in music
right now. they're playing here on june 6th. i haven't been
this excited for a show in forever. go to pelican. go to
mono. you won't regret it.

Actually I wasn't deciding between xmen and mono, my friends
were. For me it was either mono or stay home. I went and it
was pretty awesome. I didn't care for Pelican that much but
Mono was bowel-shattering. Pelican just sounded like a
jam/metal band but Mono seemed like they were all into their
instruments and focusing on the sounds comming out of the
speakers rather than just playing what they needed to.

The audience (as always in albuquerque) was wack and even
though there were 80 people standing around and it was
obvious beyond a doubt that the song was over, I
ended up being the first one to break the silence and start
clapping and whistling only then to have everyone follow
suit.

Glad I went though, I haven't even seen part 2 of xmen. LOL

it's been really great for music here in salt lake lately.
we've just had mogwai and sigur ros come through. and now
mono and pelican. i'm glad you went. you made the right
