why not check out some of their tracks? i'm pretty sure mimi from the board is a big fan. i have their first ep on toytronic, and it's pretty terrible. maudlin, overwrought, and to top it all off there's a faux steve reich track. i say go, if only for the friendly girl. |

and that's the track she was talking about too! she said it's an amazing track when she told me about the gig. was very nice. lovely music. managed to get in (and go out for a smoke and repeat and repeat and repeat) for free and went up to yer man at the end and very drunkenly tell him how much i enjoyed his set. he gave me a free cd there were smiles all around. |

and er yea the center cannot hold is the ep he gave me too. i still haven't gotten around to listening to it though. the artwork is just too pretty. it's gone a long way to convincing me to start buying music again. |

The first album, Things Fall Apart, is also very good, and if his next major release isn't called "Mere Anarchy Is Loosed Upon the World" I shall be very upset. this reminds me to listen to the seed5x5 digitonal live cd... ...and don't let mimi in here. |
