I only really like their earlier work, their new material is
too polished.

Hahaha, you keep on haunting me about it eh?

Guitar is good, as long as it isn't too much/long or just
plain heavy metal, and I even can handle that but only for a
short while. Like The Flashbulb does is perfect.

Premiers Symptomes and Moon Safari are the prime and I think
Talkie Walkie is a comeback to that genious world. its just
so good.

offline obara from Utrecht on 2006-05-21 05:58 [#01903830]

...and "run" from "talkie walkie" is just excellent.

definetly, right beside "Talisman" from "Moon Safari" which
is one of the best tracks ever.

Many people find that virgin suicides soundtrack cool, I
think it's not that good too.

that album is great because Air showed with it that they can
create a number of good tracks based on one melody.

Plus it's a good soundtrack, they're good producers.

offline tridenti from Milano (Italy) on 2006-05-21 13:40 [#01904079]

Yeah it surely is a good soundtrack. But I think, for
example, that inside the album lack excellent tunes like
"Alpha Beta Gaga" and "Cherry Blossom Girl" (probably my
favourite ones too). I actually mean I can''t remember some
tracks that have cought my attention in the album.

i think i like virgin suicides more to walkie talkie. i
thought walkie talkie was brilliant at first, i still think
it's nice with couple of very strong songs, but lacks that
excitement of their prior work. imo.

well its a soundtrack! obviously there arent gonna be
attention grabbing pop hits.

and i still stand by the fact that 10,000 hz legend is one
of my top albums ever.
