I used it on my old laptop (It was called like Tiny XP
(nearly naked version) or something). It worked like a
charm, so so quick with all the crap removed from the OS.

i'm downloading the experience rev03 from mininova

mcbpete: i'm just afraid of problems with making music. like
problems with midi or so. i heard there were isues with midi
in the old rev's

The one that I got was from Oink. I would assume that the
midi support would come from installing the soundcard
drivers rather than with Windows itself. I didn't test midi
i/o support but the sound itself seemed to work fine. The
.dll's for midi if not on the soundcard drivers should at
least be out there for googling.

Also, I think DirectX has all the new versions of the midi
stuff anyways (I think...)
